On March 12, 2025, the United States imposed sanctions on the Foxtrot Network, a Sweden-based transnational criminal organization, and its fugitive leader Rawa Majid, for drug and arms trafficking and fueling violence in Northern Europe.
The U.S. Department of State revealed that Iran leveraged the network to attack Israeli and Jewish targets in Europe, including a January 2024 assault on the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm.
Majid collaborated with Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security, already under multiple U.S. sanctions.
Part of the Trump Administration’s renewed "maximum pressure" campaign against Iran, these sanctions under Executive Orders 13581 and 13863 will freeze all U.S.-held assets of the Foxtrot Network and Majid.
