While Swift has yet to react, it's hazy if Perry really waved the white banner or was hacked once more (her Twitter record was just hacked this past May). ET has connected with Perry's rep for input.
Both shameless and somewhat telling was a tweet Perry, 31, sent a couple of hours after the Q&A, which read, "I cherish you pre Internet."
The fracture between the pop stars comes from remarks that Swift made in a 2014 meeting with Rolling Stone magazine, where she noticed a flimsy association with an anonymous craftsman as the motivation for her melody, "Ill will."
"For a considerable length of time, I was never certain on the off chance that we were companions or not," Swift told the distribution. "She would come up to me at grants appears and say something and leave, and I would believe, 'Would we say we are companions, or did she simply give me the harshest affront of my life?'"
Perry's indicated reaction was a tweet contrasting Swift with Mean Girls character Regina George. She later affirmed the break in a 2015 Billboard meeting expressing, "In the event that some person is attempting to stigmatize my character, you're going to catch wind of it."
Perry has taken swipes at her previous companion from that point onward, including a tweet amid Swift's Calvin Harris dramatization, that now notorious telephone call recording with Kanye West, and another conceivable dive in Elle magazine a year ago.
