Powers have recognized the body of a 49-year-old lady that was found on a private shoreline in northern Michigan.
The Traverse City Record-Eagle and WPBN-TV report that a post-mortem examination is planned Tuesday to decide how Sonja Olshove passed on.
Olshove's body was discovered Sunday morning by a neighbor on Old Mission Peninsula in Peninsula Township, upper east of Traverse City.
The Grand Traverse County sheriff's office says Olshove lived on Old Mission Peninsula, off Grand Traverse Bay.
Her demise stays under scrutiny.
The daily paper reports that Olshove instructed in the zones of humanism and brain science at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City.
School president Tim Nelson says she started working there in 1991. He says her passing is "a stun to everybody" and that "she was a fabulous, superb teacher."
